Lauren Ballard began her dance career at age three. She has had training in Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, and Scottish Highland Dance. She has performed in numerous recital and ballets including the role of Clara in the Nutcracker, she also has performed with Disney’s Imagination Movers. She has been a competitive Scottish Highland Dancer since age four wining numerous awards and trophies. She competed and placed at this years United States Inter Regional Dance competition and hopes to earn a spot to compete in nationals again next year. She looks forward to sharing her love of dance with her students.
Beth Ballard began dancing at the age of three. She has trained in various styles of dance including Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, and Scottish Highland Dance. She has been competing in Scottish Highland Dance since age five. She has competed all over the US and has won numerous awards and trophies and hopes to earn a spot to compete at next year’s nationals. She has performed in multiple recitals and ballets including: The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, and Coppelia, she has also performed with Disney’s Imagination Movers. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for dance with her students.
Jenna Treinen: started taking Ballet classes at the age of 3 at what used to be called Gayle McLaughlin School of Dance. She has added Tap, Jazz, and Pointe classes at what is now Gotta Dance Studios. For the past 2 years she has taken Advance Pointe. Here at the School House of Music Jenna has been in numerous musicals (she has also choreographed the dances in a few of them); she is also in Show Choir and has taken voice lessons for many years. For the past 2 Summers Jenna has been involved with the Cincinnati Young People Theater (CYPT) at the Covedale Performance Arts Center, while there she performed in Hairspray and West Side Story. Jenna has taken lessons from Gary Studios LA.
